Episode #12: Ray Soungpanya & Bouaphet Sygnavong
Ray Soungpanya and Bouaphet Sygnavong are both refugees from Laos, a country in Southeast Asia that is home to more than 50 ethnic groups. Soungpanya and Sygnavong are both ethnically lowland Lao, the same ethnic group as were the former kings of Laos. We plan to use material from this interview along with other footage to create a new documentary about the Laotian refugee community.
